Privacy Policy
Forge — Developer Toolkit · Last updated: June 11, 2026
Forge — Developer Toolkit ("the App") is operated by Zima Logistics LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information the App does and does not collect, and how your data is handled.
Summary: No personal data collected.
Forge is designed with privacy as a first principle. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share personal information. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs.
We do collect anonymous, aggregated usage diagnostics (no personal data, no tracking) so we can prioritize fixes. The device identifier is a random per-install value that resets on reinstall and is never linked to your identity, never used for advertising, and never shared. If your App Store account is in the EU, EEA, or UK, these diagnostics are off by default and only collected if you opt in. You can change this in Settings → Privacy.
No advertising or tracking SDKs
The App contains no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind. All 24 tools — JSON formatting, hashing, JWT inspection, cURL building, and more — run fully offline with no data sent to Forge's servers.
No accounts
Forge does not require or support user accounts. We do not collect email addresses, usernames, or any identifying information. You do not sign up, log in, or authenticate with any service to use the App.
Data stored locally on your device
The following data is created and stored locally on your device only:
- Saved code snippets and snippet tags
- Clipboard history
- Tool presets and saved configurations
- Pro purchase unlock status (validated locally via Apple's StoreKit)
This data never leaves your device except through standard iOS backup mechanisms you control. We have no access to it.
iCloud sync (favorites and recent tools)
Forge uses iCloud Key-Value Store to sync your favorites and recent tool list across your own Apple devices. This sync uses your personal iCloud account — no data reaches Forge's servers. You can disable iCloud sync for Forge in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Forge.
iCloud backup
Like all iOS apps, Forge's local data may be included in your iCloud or Finder backup if you have backup enabled. This backup is entirely your own — associated with your Apple ID and controlled by your iOS backup settings. Zima Logistics LLC has no access to it.
App Store purchases
If you purchase Forge Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple. We receive only a cryptographic receipt confirming the purchase. We never see your payment method, billing address, or any financial information.
This website (forge-dev.zima-logistics.com)
This marketing website — separate from the app — uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, and which links are clicked, such as the App Store button). This helps us measure which content and campaigns are effective. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data per Google's privacy policy. The data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally. This applies only to the website; the Forge app itself still collects nothing and makes no network calls. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on or any content blocker.
Children's privacy
Forge does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The App is appropriate for all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Since we collect no data, material changes are unlikely.
